and i am not happy with my results.
I have not had opportunity to really push myself with the baby and real life getting in the way lol! Oh well, my eating habits have inproved and I am definitely in better shape.
I gained 2 pounds this week probably from all the casseroles we ate this week - casseroles are NOT good for you, white flour pasta cooked with a cream based soup beef and cheese...A long ways from chicken breast and brown rice with steamed veggies ( that might sound boring, but I use franks red hot on the chicken and salsa and other spices to liven it up).but when other people are making it out of the goodness of thier hearts I will eat it :) and I am grateful!

New baby...
Means its hard to work out. 2 strength training sessions this week and 1 cardio. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
however-
Our eating habits have improved drastically ~ no more salty snacks and sweets.
A typical day of eating this week:
Breakfast @ 0630: COFFEE! (skim milk no sugar) a piece of whole grain toast with natural peanut butter, a banana, a yogurt and a 16oz glass of H2O.
Snack @ 0900: 1/4 cup of almonds & 8oz H2O
Lunch @ 1200: Turkey or tuna on whole grain bread, apple 8 oz H2O
Snack @ 1500: broccoli/cauliflower/carrots 8oz H2O
Dinner@ 1900: baked/grilled chicken breast with herbs and spices, roasted potatoes or rice , and steamed veggies with low-fat dressing/sauce
Snack @ 2130: Baked tortilla chips with salsa or a fruit smoothie.
I have cut out butter and margarine and cream...I dont like them anyways so why eat all that fat?
This week should get better once I set up the gym downstairs.

Meagan Elisabeth

Now to the fitness part...lol
I worked out on monday...then again today. I have been eating well though. I think I can forgive myself for being preoccupied and not working out lol. The birth of my daughter is a bit more important right now.

Novemeber 17th 2009
Well I am hitting the gym again.
UFV has a small gym with everything I need to get in shape, and it is cway cheaper than the rec center.
On Friday the 13th I had my first session, it was a short session to wake my body up and get used to working out again!
On Monday the 16th I worked out hard, but not as hard as i would have liked because my body just does not have the endurance it did a year ago.
I have hired a personal trainer who is a B. Kin. candidate from UFV and a certified personal trainer.
So far it has been fun getting my butt kicked.
Here are my stats on Friday, Nov 13:
168lbs
36.5 inch waist
and weak.
my goal is 155lbs
31 inch waist.
and strong (oh and a 6pack for Teresa to enjoy :P)
Maybe I will wax again once there is something to look at lol
